Transmission

ZF Ecomat HP 590 automatic gear box with 5 speeds forward, 1 reverse and torque converter ratio of 2,36:1.

Fitted with lock-up and 1.350Nm hydraulic retarder in all gears. Actuated by means of an electric switch on brake pedal and a key on the instrument panel to activate the automatic function when depressing the accelerator`s pedal.

VG 1600/396 Steyr transfer case with two ratio gears and lock-up.

Body/Chassis

Built in highly resistant steel plates. Ideal to meet the most severe working conditions. Fitted with reinforced articulating pivot. Load capacity up to 21,000 kg.

Made up of three interconnected main parts: front chassis, articulating pivot, and rear chassis. Articulation on the horizontal axle between the front and rear chassis: 41°; oscillation on the vertical axle: 15°, with locks by means of mechanical bumpers. For greater safety, an automatic hydraulic brake forestalls oscillation on the chassis during loading and unloading operations.

Body designed with poles suitable for either long, short, cut-to-length logs.

Lower and upper protection in both chassis. Protection grid on front. Optional rear grid.

Cab

Fully steel cab with wide view area, meeting requirements of comfort and safety. Policarbonate rear windshield. Driver’s seat with pneumatic suspension and 180° turn in both forward and reverse operations, with adjustable and ergonomic arms where the crane and joystick controls are made. Steering system control made by means of a lever on the seat’s left side.

Front and rear windshield fitted with sun protection curtains.

Air conditioning on the top of the cab designed for operations in extreme conditions.

Internal noise level in compliance with NR 15, lower than 80 decibels. Cab tilted in 30° by means of a manual hydraulic pump and hydraulic cylinder.

Loader

The RK-628 CF loader is Loglift make, model F111F. IQAN electronic function control activated by two joysticks that control the load sense directional valve. Precisely-controlled functions related to pillar turning, arm raising, boom articulation and telescopic action, grapple turning-opening-closing, and steering system.
