“Patented” control-positioning of front knives

Position of front knives controlled by a sensor installed on the upper knife that prevents the tree from touching the chassis, minimizing friction losses and maximizing pulling force.

Feed roller motors of variable displacement

These motors automatically combine pulling force and speed, reducing the speed and increasing the pulling force in too heavy trees. The reverse happens in too small trees, optimizing the operation.

Cast Iron Front Knives

The three front knives and upper knife, made of hardened cast iron, provide extra cutting surface and increased delimbing , irrespectively of the tree diameter.

Unique cushioned bottom plate assembly

This patented system absorbs shock from ground impact in felling operations, reducing the stress contraction in the frame.

Integrated Hydraulic System

The valves for all hydraulic functions, except the rotator, are built into the harvest unit, resulting in simplified assembly and maintenance.

Thermally-treated Pins

All pins are precision machined and nitrogen hardened.

Optional Top Saw

In systems of simultaneous felling and processing, the top saw improves the output of the unit, increasing production per hour.

Base location system

On processing larger trees, when the perpendicularity of the cuttings is essential, this system reduces significantly the time needed to find the timber butt and maximizes the utilization of the wood.

Made of highly resistant structural steel, excellent geometry, with welded feed rollers of low penetration and option for debarking.
